PRIMAL INSTINCT, Solo Exhibition by Anna Clark

The theme of this exhibit is botanical, a study of the interaction between plant and pollinator. Fascinated by this seductive yet often deceptive relationship, Anna Clark uses acrylics, resins, silver and gold to create her intricate jewellery pieces.

FLOW

An exhibition featuring unique, contemporary art jewellery that features handmade glass components or that is made completely from glass, whether blown, cast, slumped or lampworked. This genre is experiencing a great renaissance currently and INFLUX is happy to present some of the finest artrists in the field and highlight this exciting movement.

HAUTE-DOWN

INFLUX is roundin’ up contemporary art jewellery artists to sashay up to our cases and re-invent the classic Western look for our five-star exhibition “Haute-Down”!  The exhibition features swanky, ritzy, trés chic and fashionably elegant interpretations of Western jewellery. The folks at INFLUX will be herdin’ Cowboy & Cowgirl Bling such as bolos, bracelets, belt buckles, rings, spurs, necklaces and barrettes.  The INFLUX “Haute-Down” will take place during the worldrenowned Calgary Stampede, opening the night before the Stampede begins!

INSIGHT: Scholarship Fund Exhibition & Silent Auction

This exhibition is a month long silent auction to raise funds for a Scholarship that will go to a senior ACAD student working in the arena of contemporary art jewellery/ wearable art. As the new school term approaches it is a perfect opportunity to contribute to the future of our community’s emerging artists.
