‘Cloud Ring #4’:
Sterling Silver
|
Artist’s Statement
I am a studio jeweler who is excited by language, art and design with a representational approach. Much of my work has a summery and buoyant yet simple feel. Dominant visual themes in the work are balanced asymmetry, purposeful spontaneity, flowing patterns, and a feeling of organic growth with a modern cleanness of line and shape. Materials include silver, semi-precious and precious stones, felt, feathers, pebbles, sand, photographs, resin, papier-mâché and enamel.
