BRANDED: Alternative Stampede Theme Group Exhibition

We have invited artists to interpret the theme of “Branded” for our summer exhibition of contemporary art jewellery. Some questions Influx asked the artists, Have you ‘branded’ your name? Your wedding? Your life? Do you like to wear brand name clothing or accessories? How has international corporate branding affected our culture? Do you or do you know someone who has literally branded themselves instead of a tattoo? How does the practice of branding animals affect your taste for meat? Please join Influx to see some fabulous interpretations of 'Branded' by Canadian Contemporary Jewellery Artists.

INFLUX is hosting a unique exhibition showcasing the work our clients have collected from some very extraordinary exhibitions over that last 6+ years. “Re- Collections” will celebrate the new ownership of all Art Jewellery Lovers' favorite gallery and the satisfaction in knowing that the legacy of INFLUX will continue.

FRESH: Solo Exhibition by Melissa Pedersen

A "FRESH" body of work by emerging jewellery artist Melissa Pedersen that celebrates nature, welcoming in the birth of spring with sprouting seeds and pods bursting with new life.

BIG FLAVOUR: Group Exhibition

Features works that are big, that are flavourful as opposed to subtle or delicate. Maybe they are even ‘over the top’ or extreme, tasteful or larger than life & extra spicy! As usual the theme is open to the interpretation of the artists. Submissions from across the country will be presented.

PRIME: Senior Artists Invitational Exhibition

These are the artists who have been the role models, laid the groundwork and shaped the present art jewellery movement here in Canada and abroad. We think that they are really something to celebrate. Please join us in looking to the past to see into the future of Art Jewellery in Canada.

Featuring the work of Andrew Goss RCA, Charles Lewton-Brain, Dee Fontans, Matthieu Cheminee, Sarabeth Carnat, Susan Kun, Sandra Noble-Goss and Jackie Anderson RCA.

MORE BIG NEWS: 2nd Annual Emerging Artist Invitational Exhibition

INFLUX is hosting its second annual invitational exhibition of contemporary art jewellery. Adam Lagace and Justine Lockhart were winners this spring of the INFLUX INSIGHT Scholarship Awards from the Alberta College of Art and Design where they will be continuing their studies next year. They are joined by Marina Babic of Toronto who has been gaining a lot of recognition for her organic anticlastic jewellery since she graduated from George Brown College in 2006.

FIAT LUX: 4th Annual National Juried Exhibition

Latin for "Let There Be Light". How is the idea of ‘light’ manifested in contemporary jewellery designs? Are they inspired by a spiritual path? A particularly beautiful stone? Or has social conscience been the guide? Come and see the answers!

Jewellery artists from across the country submitted nearly 40 works out of which only 22 pieces were selected by our panel of jurors. Awards were granted in the following categories: Best in Show, Best Use of Gemstones, Best Interpretation of the Theme and 2 Honorable Mentions.
